It was a crisp spring morning as the she-wolf trotted confidently out of the trees and towards the blue, glittering lake; hungry, tired, and looking forward to wading into the water and catching a fish or two. As her white-smudged gray paws touched the water, Aylin sighed. She loved the water. Staying still as a statue, she waited for a fish to swim by.
But instead of a fish, Aylin suddenly saw a bright flash of light reflected in the lake, as something came from the sky. The light lit up the entire lake, everything within a few miles, she thought. She couldn't see anything for a few moments; the light was too bright. When the light finally dimmed, a majestic looking silver fox with a cape of feathers was standing.
Aylin just stood there looking at the beautiful creature with pale blue eyes, baffled, while Goddess Chaos explained that she would grant her a power. Finally, she found her voice again. Bowing, Aylin replied,"Your Majesty, I thank you for choosing to be in the presence of such a humble wolf as I. All I ask for, is something that will help me as a warrior."
