Black Crystal PackA home for the lost, we welcome all.
Lore
While much of the lore is unknown to the pack, Agato has said that he wanted a place where wolves can live as a family, and in peace. He thought of the Black Coast Region and claimed it. He promised a skull of an old being there that he would make a place for wolves.
Ranks
Alpha male/Father: The male leader of the pack. He will help make decisions for the pack along side his mate.
Alpha Female/Mother: The Female leader of the pack. She will also help make decisions for the pack.
Council of six: Six wolves, mostly pairs among each other, who will make sure the alphas choices are not over the law.
Medic: The healer of the pack. Must have herbal knowledge.
Military/Defense commander(s): The military and defense commander(s). If there are two, they can be mates, siblings, or friends.
Army/Sentinels: Under the command of the military commanders, protect the pack and defend from anything.
Hunters/Scouts: Needed to keep the pack nourished and protected.
Subordinates (Sons/Daughters): The majority of the pack, they don't exactly do much if they are young.
Elders (Grandmothers/Grandfathers): They don't do much other than tell the young stories. They also take place as replacement leaders if the Alphas and council are missing for some reason.
True Mothers: Female wolves that are expecting pups or are nursing them. They are assigned to only look after their pups and nothing more.
Trainees: Wolves that are old enough to be trained in a specific rank. Two will be selected by the alphas for them to train.
Trainers: Train the trainees for their chosen rank.
The Law of the Pack
1. Alphas have a say in everything.
2. Nothing will be punished by death, only being shunned or exiled.
3. Only under extreme circumstances will the pack fight.
4. War will not be declared by this pack.
5. Everything must be known by the pack. (this does not concern Agato, for he chose not to tell about the day where night stayed.)
Rituals, Traditions, and Celebrations
Summer hunt: In the middle of summer, the hunters, scouts, army, and sentinels will be split among each other to find as much food as possible before the sun sets. There is no set prize for the winning group.
The feast: Once the summer hunt is completed, there will be a feast at sunset. There will also be berries from the forests and plenty of singing.
There will be more to come as the pack grows.
