Hephaestus traveled to the Lake to find some fish for his mistress, he knew she would be hungry after delivering their pups. Nostrils flared as the sauntering pace went along, exhaling smoothly as the mocha beast moved along. The massive demon was not worried as to what other wolves were around the lake, he would catch what he needed and head back to the den with no issues. If issues would arise the male would deal a hefty blow to any that dared step in his way, Hephaestus was not at all frightened by anything that came his way.
Tail thrashed a bit as the waltzing continued till he neared the lake, as his tangerine eyes drifted along the surroundings. No wolves seemed to be here just yet and therefore the male would begin his hunt for fish, large paws reaching the bank. Hephaestus lowered his body near the edge and kept his muzzle very close to the surface of the lake, waiting in silence not to frighten any of the potential prey. A few smaller fish swam by though Hep waited for the right prey to cross his path. Time passed slowly as the sun rays warmed his flesh, then a large fish swam past and powerful jaws darted into the waters.
Latching on the fish he ripped it out of the water and crushed his jaws down, killing it instantly. Hephaestus placed the fish in front of him to make certain that no other wolves stole his catch. Hephaestus lowered over his first fish and continued waiting and catching when the time was right. Three fish within a good amount of time, Hep would allow just a few more minutes to catch at least one more before returning to Everbane. Nostrils flared before crouching down once more and a aroma flowed in, faint but there was something nearby. Hephaestus turned to keep his fish behind him, as the male watched with dangerous eyes.

Morana's eyes curiously looked over the scene, the large dead moose at the edge of the water. It was bloated, legs sprawled far apart from each other and abdomen large and round. The dark beauty was sitting in the open as she looked over the beautiful scene that lay before her. Petite form sitting tall with her thick black tail wrapped around her. Moonlight eyes glimmered with amusement and delight as she studied the dead animal. Death had always been a fascination to her. Slowly she rose from her spot, casually walking over to the carcass. It was a cow, cause of death at this point was unknown. By the signs it had been laying here for at least a day, in the sun. Even though it was cool, the sun's rays and the water may have sped up the bloating process. The black female wasn't hungry, she was just interesting it staring at the dead cow. Wading through the shallow water she moved over to the face of the moose looking into the glassy clouded eyes. A small smile broke on her face before walking around the animal, studying the body and looking for any bloodshed that would tell her what this cow died of. Through this whole process she was still alert to the world around her, ears were perked and moving around on her head. It seemed as though no other wolves were nearby, but she was sure that they would soon be attracted to the carcass.
After a thorough exam of the body she moved from the water, back to the shore. Laying down on the sore she basked on the shore. She let the sun warm her fur and she closed her eyes to relax. This was before her ears caught the sound of water splashing. Opening her silver eyes she looked around for the source of the sound. When she couldn't see the source, she stood up silver eyes peering around until they landed on another wolf. A chocolate hued wolf that looked to be fishing. He wasn't to far from her and didn't seem to know that another was nearby. She didn't speak, nor distract the wolf from fishing. No instead the female just stared, without a word.

It wasn't long before the faint scent came with a face, icy eyes and a black hued flesh which created a divine wolf. Tangerine eyes gazed at the figure who starred from afar, she simple watched and nothing more which made the beast grin devilishly. Tilting his hefty skull as he continued to gaze upon the female and then his lips parted. "You can come closer deary.." The deep baritones falling from his lips with honey dipped cyanide. The wind rolled across the lake, feeling it rush past his coat and carry both of their scents throughout the land. Tail thrashed back and forth in a feline like manner, as the beast thought about what the lady would do.
For once Hephaestus would wait near the lake, allowing the lady to make the first move. Though if she failed to do so he would be compelled to take all the space that was between the two of them. A grim smile appeared over his leathery lips, as the pumpkin eyes continued to intently watch the new wolf. It seemed for now she was the only other wolf around for the time being, which pleased the devil greatly. Hephaestus allowed all the horrid thoughts to waft through his mind, as many devilish thoughts filled his skull. It was a fine day to meet another and possibly gain a pack member if she did not already call another place home. Either way he hoped she would be worthy of amusing time.
The grand mocha wolf shifted his weight back and forth, as muscles shifted and flexed. Though he waited patiently for the female to decide what she would do. It was a interesting beginning with the fact the wolf was just watching, which was unusual for most beings. Hephaestus continued to watch in a predatory manner, waiting for a reaction or a action. The devil was overly curious as he awaited the female to speak or move, either way Hephaestus would do as he wished soon enough.

When she saw his tangerine eyes look her way, her lip twitched. Irritated that he had noticed her, she should have just slunk away when she had the chance. He was a large male and she had a feeling she would have little chance of escaping him. So what would she do? He spoke, beckoning her closer with smooth deep tones. It made her suspicious, her good eye narrowing as she looked to him. Her tail tip twitched like a cat's as she watched him, not budging from her spot. Since meeting the first male a few days ago she had gotten rather lazy with keeping hidden and it's a bad thing on her part. Now she was in this current situation. She didn't feel comfortable, but when did she when she was around others. This male had an odd look in his eyes and watched her much like a predator would with prey. The wind was blowing her scent to him, so Mora was unable to smell his scent. Her black nails dug into the ground and she tried to come up with an answer.
She wasn't good with words, normally she was blunt and straight forward. She only ever knew one way to talk to others even if it never worked out well with her. Huffing the female glanced back to the moose carcass before going back to the male. She wasn't going to go closer to him and didn't want him to come close to her. She would stay put, and on edge.
"I'm perfectly fine right here," she answered

The devil watched closely the opposing female, carefully studying her movements and what she may do in reaction to his words. Tilting the hefty skull he waited allowing as much time as she wanted to pass. The lady stayed put not moving or speaking which was quite interesting, usually others couldn't wait to draw nearer or run either option. The lady seemed to be studying him as well, this he found lovely for it was an admirable trait. Soon words broke the silence and it was as if they had brought the beast into motion. The swaggering steps moving closer and closer to the lady, leaving the fish behind for now. Closing the distance slowly and allowing only a slight respectable distance between the two.
"Deary with such a backbone how haven't we met." The beast spoke a slightly rhetorical question but wished for her to answer. The tones were deep and thick with poison as they dripped from his lips, tangerine eyes continuing to hold their intent gaze on the lovely being. The dark coat and the light eyes were a divine contrast to one another, allowing such a delightful female to be created. Hephaestus did not care if she liked his predatory gaze or not, he would do as he wished without regard for others. The devil wondered what she would do, have just another bold statement or would it be followed by a feisty reaction? Oh, he hoped she would continue giving him the independent attitude.
It intrigued the devil greatly to see that women still held their own when in his presence and not just melt like so many. Salmon colored tongue ran over his lips to clean away and blood from the fish he had previously caught, moving slowly so as his many other actions did. Hephaestus always conserved as much energy whether he was training, fighting or hunting. It was only used when necessary and never just for 'fun'. Hephaestus was a man of his beliefs and therefore would always do as he wished whether others cared or not, he found it to be all too inviting to see how others behaved around him. Each and every experience was something new and memorizing.
