The rain forest was a remote place. Everyone sought to make it their paradise, but no one succeeded. Jaguars and poisonous animals were threats no one could survive through. Then came two wolves from completely different places. They didn't choose to be together, but survival made them put aside their differences. They made the paradise that many only dreamed. Soon the two were having pups of their own, and they were beginning the first pack in the dangerous wilderness. Wolves who came into the rain forest seeking to take the land were diminished by their surroundings. There were a few who successfully joined the pack.
The pack was never named, but to others outside of the rain forest they were known as savages. Eventually they took up the name Amazons. They considered themselves protectors of any travelers who stepped a foot into the forest. Being in the rain forest was a dangerous place, and having a guide who knew everything about it was most helpful. Many of the wolves of the Amazon pack contributed inadvertently to their savage name because of the obscure and sometimes crazy techniques used during hunting. Being in such a remote place that seemed pretty cut off also contributed to this. Many wolves in this pack when finally released upon the outside territories were known to have interesting behavior.
In this pack there was never a set ranking system. The only obvious rank was the alphas. The alphas were a pair of two with equal responsibilities. They could be siblings, mates, or two good friends. It is questionable what caused the supposed extinction of this pack. All of a sudden there was no more news from the rain forest. Wolves that went in came out, but they claimed that they never saw any of these savages. Soon the Amazons became a legend passed on to pups. All that was thought to be left of such a pack were two pups and a mother. The two pups grew up strong and learned everything about the pack from their mother. The only thing that was never answered was what happened to the Amazon Pack.
With the weight of a long dead pack on their shoulders the two siblings left the rain forest. Inexperience caused them to run away from their destiny. They traveled around for many years, and for all those years no one ever knew where they were from. Then something hard hit them, and they finally got it. Now they were back. Ripley and her brother were here to claim the land that was still so remote.
Ripley sniffed the soft scents that bought back long ago memories of childhood. Her brother sat beside her as the rain pounded down on both of them. After all these years the forest was still untouched. It was as if they hadn't been gone at all. Their mother wanted to stay, and die this place. Now Ripley understood why. Who would wanna leave such a beautiful place? No matter the dangers she would lead this pack like her mother wanted all those years ago. She would also follow the laws of the old pack so her brother would lead beside her. Whatever had wiped out her long lost ancestors was not going to stop the siblings from bringing back the Amazon Pack. Those tales that she heard from the other territories were true, and she would make them see.
"We might be savages, or we are just natives. Either way the Amazon Pack will be alive once more," said Ripley as she moved forward further into the forest. Her brother was by her side. Not a word needed to be spoken between them, because they knew exactly what they need to accomplish.
