The mountain climb wasn’t easy due to the fierce cold which could be a reason why the wild life here was a bit tougher then the ones down towards Common grounds. Even so it didn’t seem to phase one creature with a brilliant white coat who seemed to blend in naturally except for the small grey scale that travel down her spine. None less though she was camouflaged perfectly like a female duck. She padded careful through the mountain with a watchful eye out for any snow leopards who thought they might be in for an easy meal. Eve with this weighing on her mind she still felt at peace with the mountain after all, it had snow.
The she-wolf didn’t have to worry about getting over heated in the mountain because it was always freezing and her thick coat was made for this wheatear. No, she had been made for this wheatear and she enjoyed it as much as any wolf down on Common ground enjoyed summer. To her, winter was her summer and summer was her winter. She never grew tired of the snow that seemed to fall down as elegantly as a swan, but she did grew tired of the countless days of heat which made her wish she never was born with such a fluffy coat.
‘I guess this is the price I pay after all, I can’t have everything.’ She thought to herself after all, everything in life was about a give and take. You have to give something up in order to take what you really want within life and so you always paid a price. In short this was a fair way and even though during the summer she cured her coat she still loved it to death after all, without she wouldn’t enjoy her favorite season as much.
Continuing on her journey to explore the mountain range, her ears perked up as she stopped short during her padding. Her gaze scanned the area she was within before she lowered her head down to a standard position. Deciding to take a break, she sat down without a second thought as the area seemed to be quite clear and silent. You could hear a pile of snow falling from a mile away from here due to the great silence. After all, she had a full lifetime to explore this mountain range and she would.

It wasn't long after the sun had rose and after making certain the pups were well, the massive creature knew it was time to scout the mountains. Trespassers were not all bad or danger to the pack, though they did need to be dealt with no matter what business they had. Hephaestus's large paws pressed into the slushy snow, soon the first great snow fall would appear and the lovely Winter Event would take place. Ears listened carefully to the daytime creatures, a few calls of birds erupted shattering the silence. As the masculine frame maneuvered across Everbane a aroma tickled his nostrils, a perfume had wafted into the lands and Hep couldn't be more pleased.
Hephaestus began his sauntering in the direction toward the perfume and then the lady appeared after a bit of time. Dangerous tangerine eyes began to scan the ivory beauty, my my she blended in well here. A wicked grin spread across his leathery lips, as his swaggering movements approached the divine creature. "Well hello there deary..." A deranged giggle came from his throat, nostrils inhaling deeply the new scent. As the massive beast approached he watched carefully, allowing his eyes to fall all over the new lady. Doing his usual behavior whether others favored it or not, he stepped so close it definitely made anyone slightly freaked out.
The devil shifted his weight as he stood before the divine being and then spoke once more, "Now tell me ice princess what brings you to the mountain?" The noxious baritones were lathered in a deadly poison, though something about his words were delightful and alluring in a haunting manner. No Hep didn't introduce himself as Alpha, he was interested to see how others acted when they had no clue whom they were speaking too. It showed others true characters when they didn't know they were faced with the Alpha. Smirking as he continued to gaze over the alabaster female, watching intently and waiting for an answer.

Upon hearing the voice her ears twitched as the brute came padding towards her. She took note of how close he came, but didn't say anything about it as that how she normally was. Her gaze kept focus on him though. Even so she was amused none less at the term of being called 'Ice princess' which had to be the first time ever. Normally she would be picked on her size, but it seemed the other didn't care to notice it.
"Greetings to you as well, and I guess you can say I'm passing through more or less. Don't really have a plan just roaming." She explained shortly within her normal monotone voice. She took a once over at the brute and took notice of the size difference which wasn't a shocker to her anymore, but also had much larger in the width proportion as well.
"It seems you fair well in this climate, most of the time I only notice arctic like wolves living in the north." She spoke out as it was true. Most wolves of different shades live everywhere, but the north as their body and minds couldn't handle the climate and to live on a a mountain range in the north well unheard of. "I guess you can say it surprises me.

The lady was quite alert as Hephaestus approached and was soon to speak as well. This pleased the beast greatly and the respect that the lady showed as well was very delightful. "Just romaing deary, well do you have a place to rest?" The devil questioned in his own charming and primitive manner. Hephaestus noted her eyes grazing over his body, which didn't bother the male due to the fact he did it to others all the time, whether they liked it or not. "Yes deary, I do. I was born and raised in this glorious place." the baritones rolling like thunder rolling through the stormy skies.
Shifting his weight his eyes continued to be locked onto her gaze making certain to catch every movement or reaction that the lady would give. "I surprise many deary, how about a name?" He questioned wondering if the lady would tell the honest truth or lie. From the way he observed her just now, the lady would be honest. Tough the it would not be the first time that someone surprised the male, yet he was certain that she would amuse him in other ways than tricking him. Hephaestus was interested to see what she may say to his questions, did she already have a pack?
If she did the scent had not lingered on her coat, which meant if she did belong to a pack she had not been there long. With the way she spoke of the North he figured she would more than likely be from one of the northern packs, but then again if she didn't belong to one than Everbane would be a lovely fit for this icy goddess. The devil had to wonder what was going through the lady's skull, his own dark thoughts were swirling through his skull. A deranged smile spreading over his leathery lips as he watched and waited.

"No, I tend to just rest where ever I end myself up at." She replied back in her own respective manner. Being rude just wasn't her thing, but she could be snappy if push came to shove. She couldn't help, but smirk at hearing him call the place glorious as most wolves hate it except for those who dwell within the region."Of course the North is glorious, but some wolves say they can debate about that. I guess you just have to be born here to understand and appreciate the Northern lands." It was true, she knew first hand after talking to a large brute from the South who loved the warm weather and of course mud. She would never understand how one would love getting dirty... She rather be kept clean.
"The name is Fallen Angel." She explained towards the demon like male as she shifted a bit. She felt his gaze lock on to her own, but once again said nothing about it. She was starting to get used to the way he stared at her almost like he could see into her soul if they any.

Hephaestus paid close attention to the female and was becoming more enticed by her love of the Winter and the Mountains, which many believed differently in. Listening to her first answer a grim smile plastered itself on his lips as he quickly responded yet in a calm and collected manner. "Deary may I offer a place within the Permafrost pack? You may have whatever title you wish.." The deep voice spoke with it's intoxicating tones. It was a bold question and offer but he believed this lady would fit in nicely to the lands and be a good prospect for Everbane. The next words she spoke only enforced his prior thoughts and a chuckle escaped as eerie as ever.
"Indeed, wise words you speak." The comment was blunt as usual but genuine, the male was a honest devil whether others favored it or not. The last words that the ice princess spoke was delightful, "Ah such a befitting name Fallen Angel." Hephaestus expressed as he paused for a moment, then of course allowed his words to break the silence. "I am Hephaestus, Overlord of the Permafrost pack." The beast introduced himself in the same manner as he had spoken previously, never once did he act as a regal ass. No Hephaestus would only use his dominance if it was necessary, there was no purpose in using it at every point he could.
The devil shifted his weight slightly, side stepping to initiate a walk even if she decided to decline his offer. The male was not at all worried what she may say, if any had ever traveled to the mountains before he claimed it than they already knew the lands. Even if they didn't they would never know the lands like the ones who called this place home, plus he was craving a lady's attention due to his mistresses company was not around very much. Though he did not have any worries, even though he cared for her he wasn't positively sure of her completely. It would come to his attention eventually.
