Snowflakes fell lightly from the sky as an indication that the bitter winters were only to come, but this wouldn't be an empty promise, but a bet. Many wolves didn’t enjoy the winter as much as the Northern wolves, and during this season it was their time to shine. For the she wolf, it felt everywhere she stepped the ground became frozen and covered with the white substance. A low breeze would pass behind her as she trenched forward heading towards Common ground. In short, this moment was pure bliss as she didn’t have a care in the world. No worries about how the temperature fair in the Common grounds or if overheating was a possibility due to her large coat. No, the only thing she had to worry about was if she was returning home to the North or spreading the joys of winter.
The slow pace she had worked well for her as she was in no rush. Hardly any wolves came out during this season and so it was often spent in silence. By now she was used to these silences and more or less welcomed them to accompany her where ever she went. Of course a few souls broke them before, but they never stood long enough to keep it broken not that she minded. A few allies gained was an advantage for her in the long run.
Her ears perked forward as her eyes started to make out some of the lake. Her pace didn’t pick up though as she slowly made her way to the body of water. Slow and steady she made it within an almost reasonable amount of time. Her eyes could see the lake was frozen solid and could be easily passable if one wanted to cross it, but it was a risky bet.
Closing her eyes she sat in silence until her nose picked up a new scent. Definitely a male, and so her eyes reopened as if waiting to see if the male would come strolling out. One thing on her mind was the fact of lacking females within the area. As far as she travel along the North and Common grounds she had never once met a female. It struck her as odd, but then again many might be held up within a pack somewhere which would explain a lot.
Focusing her attention on her surroundings, her ears scanned around hoping to pinpoint where the male was. After all, she could never be too careful.

HANNIBAL // KROVHannibal was without his brother for what seemed the first time since birth. This was an exaggeration but Hannibal and Lektor seemed to be one wolf living within two different bodies. Hannibal had left Lektor to his own devices, the brute would be fine. Hannibal needed a bit of time to think and plot, at any rate. He'd started moving aimlessly and this is where his paws carried him. Hannibal found himself here once more: Crowberry Lake. Perhaps he had an affinity for the water. It's calm aura and serene nature pulling him back for a reprieve from all his wickedness. It was good to separate one's self from madness if only for a night. It was never far from his really, though, at least Lektor wasn't here.
He moved across the landscape silently, seeming to glide like some sort of ghost. Snow flakes alighted upon his fur, blending seamlessly with a pure white of the same color. Under the light of the moon Hannibal seemed to glow. It was quiet -- quiet as death -- and everything became apparent to him. Every creature skulking in the undergrowth, every night bird trying to find them out for their own meal. The forest surrounding the lake was dead and alive all at once, a bit like himself. The wolf was on autopilot, really, lost within his mind. His beautiful red eyes were half lidded, blurry, not focusing on anything in particular, seeing just enough to keep himself on his paws.
As if by intuition he stopped just short of the water's edge, nails scraping the frozen lip. Before taking another step, Hannibal came to. The night was quite beautiful and perfect, especially for company. At some point he realized he was not alone at lake but it was only now he turned to look at who was now to be his companion. He regarded her form gently, something akin to admiration playing in his pupils. She was pretty. He wondered if he was really just looking into a mirror. Her fur was as white as his was save for some spaces of gray painted silver in the twilight.
"What specter are you?" Hannibal jested as he walked toward her. He couldn't stay away , curious as he was. He wondered if she minded. Probably not.
He stalked about behind to her other side where he sat lightly on the snowy bank with her, "You don't seem real, are you some sort of illusion? I question my perceptions sometimes because, you see, I'm insane."
Hannibal laughed himself, a light little chuckle, "But I should hope I can recognize beauty. What is your name?"

Her eyes wandered the male up and down noticing the alike appearance they both held, her tense seemed to fade away. Even so the only difference you could tell between the two would be her eyes had been grey while the others was a shade of crimson. ‘A demon has come to visit the Fallen Angel. She thought as if making humor to herself. Her head didn’t turn as he walked behind her, and her gaze returned once again towards the male once he had settled himself.
“Insanity can't start without sanity.” She spoke up towards his joking as if adding to the humor, but her voice fell flat. Monotone as many wolves would describe it, but it seemed to fit her very well. Her second answer came swiftly after her small little joke, “The name is Fallen Angel, dear and may I get yours?” She asked.
She shifted her weight to where she was facing the brute where the moon seemed to be behind her. She settled down on her hunches in a sit before curling her soft tail around her. Her ears perked forward making it look like she lost her ears within her pearl white fur.

HANNIBAL // KROV Clever, this one was. Hannibal took a liking to her.
He looked down upon all wolves equally in special, unique ways. Females bored him. Not to the point he'd swear off of them -- no, they were far too pleasurable in other ways -- but to the point none could interst him in any real way. Her impression was of intelligence and she had an unwavering manner of holding herself. Hannibal didn't unnerve her in the slightest, not even with the way his red eyes drunk in her form. She was peculiar in the way she spoke with no emotion, voice as flat and colourless as the snowy plain she likely hailed from. Hannibal's voice was always filled with some sort of emotion, synthetic or otherwise.
He liked the way she called him 'dear' and appreciated when she turned toward him. He gave her a smile that said he shouldn't be trusted. Were she keen, she might pick up on it. She might become savy of the fact Hannibal was something else. What he was exactly not even the snow white wolf knew but he knew he was different in some sort of way. Good or bad? A matter of perspective.
"Hannibal Krov." his voice was silky. He did so very much like hearing his own name, "I'm pleased to meet a charming girl like you."
"Why journey to Crowberry Lake at this hour?" his question was laced with mild curiosity. He wanted to knew her allegiance, if she formed at all "Shouldn't you be nestled safe some place?"

The flash of the smile the male shown should have sent her a signal to get away, but instead she stayed in place. She even went as far as having her lips curve up slightly before disappearing back as if she had tried to pull off a smile. Even so, the other was enthralling unlike most of the wolves who wander around Somerset who seemed to follow by a stereotyping. Different was something she liked as she met wolves almost every day and they all carried the same personality traits which bore her to no end. Not this male, he seemed to be something quite different.
‘A demon perhaps.’ She thought to herself in a joking manner as if referring back to her previous thoughts. She let the thought goes as she wasn’t going to chase her own tail as if trying to find an answer. His appearance was a wolf even if his qualities seem to scream another thing, but it could be how the other acted. After all, it was what made him divergent from all the males and why she still sat her next to him.
“No, the pleasure is all mine Hannibal.” She spoke up feeling quite please at being called charming. His name seemed to just roll off her tongue, and she liked the sound of the brute’s name.
“The snow looks better at night, but I feel this is my only chance of exploring the lands without the worry of heat. As far as nesting goes well I sleep where ever I fell is cozy enough.” She explained not brother by the mild curiosity after all, she hadn’t form an allegiance not wanting to be tired down to a commitment just yet. She had the rest of her life to figure out what she wanted to do, but for now she did as she pleased without a care.
