Reece plodded through the territory with a feeling of violence about him. It wasn’t the best feeling in the world, but he was definitely not feeling as open as he had. The destruction of his one solid relationship with Nocturne had been too much to handle. With the winter getting colder, he could feel his anger constantly on his heels. It was a threat that could not be ignored, it was one he wanted to embrace in some ways.
He would obey the rules, although he suspected so long as Nocturne made it through the winter happy — well, it might turn time to make his leave be established. He was not so concerned about dying in the cold, he had lived many winters. He had fought worse than a chill wanting to get into the bones of his body and take him down to the ground.
His head tipped to the side and he found himself wanting to grumble over the matter. In some ways, he could not help but question why he was so selfish. It was a family relation that had done him wrong, but on the other hand, Nocturne had known her heritage. The male had opened up and hinted about the things that drove him the most crazy, and in the end he had been ignored.
His chest was heaving a bit more, and his eyes grew wide with the pain of the situation. Something was wrong with his chest; was his heart giving out? No, it had just been years since the dark souled male had reached the point where he would fall into a panic attack. Most of the time he found himself able to avoid the matters, his dull, lifeless eyes seemed to take on a world of emotion now with just a few blinks. He was so angry, so hurt.
This was not how he wanted to be found. Reece knew his luck and the way the world worked, there would be someone to come upon him as his paws outstretched, ears pulled back and eyes dilated. Breathe through the matter, breathe! Oh he was a fool to think he would not feel clustered and trapped, and yet the end result always seemed to be the same!
