THE BEST THINGS HAPPEN UNEXPECTEDLY The world is proclaiming the end, there is no one who can stop it now... It’s starting… It was called The Crater. Her personal form of prison, this natural depression of loose soil, run by loners and exiles alike, only brought back foul memories. She wanted so badly to escape its depths but no matter how many times she broke through the surface, tasting freedom and all its glory, Vanity only found herself drowning back down. I need a life line. She covered the ground ever-so slowly, for each step could be ones last, on guard yet simultaneously relaxed. Although Vanity was unwilling to admit it, this basin was her birthplace and they both held a small piece of one another. But there had to be more, correct? The Crater knew more of life than she... how awful. Rasha was gone, thank the Gods, and Penelope had left Vanity too soon. She was alone but not without vision. Vanity knew what she wanted, what she believed she deserved, it was all just the matter of how to get it. Who to manipulate, befriend and, Gods forbidden, kill. I don't want to be like this. The she-wolf wanted to scream, desiring to hear the honest truth resound off the Crater's walls, but... she remained silent. Little wildlife flourished here and it made Vanity's stomach growl out of spite. Forelegs stretched dramatically before her, the russet individual fell onto the ground in a messy lying position. The rubble felt rough on her stomach but she welcomed it nonetheless. Salmon tongue lapping at her beige muzzle, Vanity yawned, bored by her solitude. all pics from dawnthieves.CODED BY ELECTRIC OF SHINE

Orthos
Paws were quick across the earth, counting the minutes until he was back in the safety of the cost. In general, it was not a usual expedition to wanted outside of the pack territory that he had called home since the beginning of his life. Shaking his head gingerly, and he found himself biting back a smile. The spirits were dancing around him, they were tramping the earth and chanting. It was that time of year, Spring had kicks to it that could not be denied. It was just so foolish is some ways, he was intent to make sure that he was not about to trip over a dead body.
What a time of life it was, and as he slid into the barren crater, he found his heart beating in his ears. It was a warning sign, something the male should have taken up long ago. It was something of a shock to the system when his steps got faster, but they were pulling him in the wrong direction. Making him look in another angle, and he found his head twisting to a rather unusual state. With the scent in his nose, he groaned softly; thankful he had not prayed this morning. It would have brought the demons in, running toward him, wanting to suck him up and pull him into their world.
Instead, his sharp words called out, "Fiend! Precious dog without a coat!" Words tumbled out of his mouth, swift as he approached the female. She looked bored, evidently not one who was playing with the spirits from time to time. It caused him to smile, the lithe mottled male making his appearance without a second thought, his head raised in arrogance. There was danger, there was reason to be afraid. There was nothing abnormal in appearance about the male, however, and even his grin seemed friendly on some accounts.
"Hail," His words were soft, a greeting of sort, but he looked a little lost as he finally came to a stop. "You look lonesome, may I interest you in a lifetime of imprisonment?"

THE BEST THINGS HAPPEN UNEXPECTEDLY The world is proclaiming the end, there is no one who can stop it now... It’s starting… The quiet aura of the foreboding crater had soon been shattered by an outsider. Heavy with the smell of the coast, the beast that arose from the nothingness was a peculiar being indeed. At first, Vanity did not take note of him. She did not speak nor hardly move when words were directed towards her. The only thing that gave away the fact that she knew of her company was the light flick of the ears. How she'd curse them later. Stirring first... then fluttering... and finally unfolding her wings, Vanity stood with confidence. Broadside to the audience, the vulpine-like wolf lowered her muzzle, a false sign of submission, and looked directly at the nuisance. The crimson fury that lie upon his frame held no doubts about its ability. Although Vanity was sure not to give him a challenging gaze, her eyes did not silence their intensity. A smile took place on russet male's features, only heightening his displayed arrogance. This was someone who took great pride in themselves, all the way to the very fibers and loose demons that fabricated him. It wasn't uncommon for some to believe themselves to rival the Gods, so reason for caution was unclear... but Vanity believed being on the defensive would only raise his confidence. She had to not wound that vicious pride but not feed it either. Hail... what sort of a greeting was that anyway? Allowing her head to sit normally again, Vanity allowed a faint, some may say seductive, smile to appear. "Imprisonment and I have already shared a fair amount of time together... I'm sure she's tired of my company. Would you prefer to skip such hostilities and..." The she-wolf trailed off, as if considering what to propose they do, before she finally found her voice again. "...my," she falsified an embarrassed laugh, "I haven't a clue... What else do you propose we do, hm?"all pics from dawnthieves.CODED BY ELECTRIC OF SHINE

Orthos
Impatient look circled his face as he found the female drab with her words, filled with life and self importance. Being raised in the Coast, he was not quite accustomed to a spunky little chit. On the other hand, he was none so burdened. The male was on the smaller side, thus he was welcomed to the sarcasm and brutality by the other males. All a bunch of pigeons they were, constantly pecking at the little tidbits that were given out. They all assumed their superiority over him in one way or another, but Orthos was special. Orthos could make the King of the Coast afraid.
His ears swished on his head as he studied the arrogant female, and he raised a brow. "Hostile? Who becomes hostile in the presence of someone who can turn them into a frog?" His words were dual; stories that had whispered long in his head. Still, he merely stared at her. His body was quite relaxed, and he found no reason to approach her with the intent for harm. What good would that do when it would just send him into a blood frenzy? Thus, he merely watched - and then fleetingly smiled.
"Imprisonment is never lonesome when there would be the bodies of the fallen and the bodies of the bloodied to keep you in comfort." His words were smooth, "Imprisonment is not a real person nor an embodiment by the way. The souls within the imprisonment feed the power, but it is a source, and pure energy source put up with physical ramifications." His teacher's voice was smooth on the air, blunt with his factor. She had mentioned something about doing something else, but he had merely ignored it. She looked like a treasonous whore, who was going to blame him for not being impressed?
"I would like to invite you formally to the Coast, the Black Coast, where we worship the Demon embodiment that manifested itself into a wolf that was formerly known as Zarek." His words were preachy enough, that was for sure. But his eyes were rolling as he snorted in laughter, "It would be much more fun than this place of lifeless junk! Even if it reflects what is inside you my dear, we have room for shells as well at the Coast."
