Traversing the unknown wilds had lost its novelty, Luc found, and he'd also discovered that he absolutely hated not being able to stick his paws into a nice, rushing stream and come up with a fish ready to smack him in the face. It was one of the privileges of living off the sea that he missed. Why had he ever left Sharktooth? That couple 0f fish he'd had before crossing wouldn't be enough to sooth his stomach, now, and he was immediately drawn to whatever source of water he could find. -- When he had said water, though, he hadn't meant a great big spanking lake where he was certain to find any number of fish residing in its depths - but who was he, Luc Terant, to decide? It was absolutely wonderful - while he'd asked for a river, he might not have been able to secure a ready meal. And looky here! A ripe lake - lake, mind you, not a small pond - filled with hugeass fish for the taking! Never before had the young male been so glad for his fishing talents before. And oh, did he love his fishing talents right in that moment. He continued walking on a little while later - paying no attention to how the world warped around him in favour of finding a nice, comfortable place to rest his eyes - batting away the occasional wisp of fog as it meandered across his path. Watery, steely yellow seemed almost to break, then, and Luc found his bottom moving to flop unceremoniously onto the floor. It was a rather strange feeling floor, to be honest. Maybe this was where that Chaos Lady resided, which was why the floor was absolutely not in his favour today, and why there was fog everywhere that it could invade. "Uh, Chaos?" Luc began, unsure of what he wanted to say. What exactly did one say to a primordial goddess who had shown up out of the blue all of a sudden? "I heard you were giving people powers, so," he paused, still trying to gather his messy thoughts. "Well, uh, I was hoping you'd be able to grant me one of your choosing - you know, because I don't actually know what to ask for. Which is stupid but - I really have no idea?" "speaking" Kenren |
